Help for a neophyte ?

[NW Modeling List]

I am a relatively recent Norfolk and Western fan who models (in 0 and S 
scale) in the late '40s early '50s.
 
I have acquired a few N & W gondola models and wonder what would be 
appropriate loads for them in that time period - and possibly a source for same.  God 
is in the details !
