>     An intermediate has a number plate and in this day and age, that is what makes the red signal "Restricting". A "Home" or "Control" signal does not have a number plate and that is what makes it a "Stop".

Thanks Jimmy... I always get that reversed!  The intermediate CPLs at Ada and Ingleside are what brought this to mind... they have a number plate westbound, but not one eastbound.
