F units

[NW Modeling List]

In that the ex-Wab and NKP units (F's and hood units) were not equipped with dynamic brakes played a major role in keeping them out of the hills and off the grades of the original N&W/Virginian in Virginia, Southern Ohio, and West Virginia.

My statement was about mainline service in a specific time period in a specific locale (the pokey).

I do not consider service in the Norfolk Terminal mainline service.
