Modeling committee projects- who's listening?

The real question should be "What are the purpose and goals of the Modeling Committee?".  Without a clear outline as to that, then it seems somewhat asanine to make judgement calls on them...

What happened the special N&W Kadee 2 bay covered hopper that was asked about here on the forum. Does anyone else have other suggestion?
