No, I've used the Scalecoat #14 for everything I've painted N&W red since the 70's.

That's a really informative comparison about how all those different reds were rendered on the models. I have several passenger cars and possibly a J awaiting paint. Thanks for sharing that information. Info like this would at least seem to lay down some semblance of the correct color range(s) for the models.
