The reason the mth cars are very similar to the OMI cars is that mth
purchased the OMI cars from a friend of mine and worked off the OMI models.

Subject: Re: MTH Powhatan Arrow Set
I have a set of the Overland brass "Powhatan Arrow" cars and the MTH set
looks just fine standing next to them. Have not had a chance to run them yet
but the appearance is fine. I really like the capacitors which prevent the
typical light flickering as they hit dirty spots. Dan Mulhearn, Pipestem WV

Anyone care to mention their thoughts on this set? I recieved mine the other
week. I thought they were well built and finally glad someone made them in
plastic that were correct. I see that MTH doing a second run and is supposed
to be releasing a weathered set as well.
