I'm in the process of making an M-2c out of a basket case I purchased on Feebay. It is quite a project. Apparently the engine was previously painted and someone stripped (partially) it causing great damage to most of the details and plumbing. Some parts of the mechanism were also destroyed in the process and disassembly. I'll have to make some valve gear parts and do a lot of soldering and straightening to make her all pretty again.
It didn't have a tender but I have a great variety of spare N&W tenders. I'm leaning toward the E-3 style 15,000 gallon/20 ton. I kinda like that squared-off coal bunker. It may wind up with a 12,000 gallon/20 ton though.

I was just taking a break from my time off doing some modeling, and was wondering what projects everyone was working.
I am trying to find a photo for a 50’s burro crane that I am painting. I am also trying to find out what font to use on a N&W/ACL E6.
I have some other projects I can’t wait to get to later but it always is later. We have the modeling contest coming up, what project
are you working on Jim N. or is it a surprise? I’m sure Jim Brewer has something up his sleeve. Please let us know what exciting projects
are happening and some photos would be great too! Stephen Rineair
