Caboose modeling

The other model that's good (not sure of current availability) is the Atlas
NE-6 caboose. I think that's a good one for the former NKP C-8/C-9 cabooses.
It was even offered in NKP and NW in 2011.

When I first started out, I bought the old Athearn shake the box bay-window
caboose and painted it for the C7P bay window caboose. I covered over the
windows on it. It wasn't exact but gave the idea of one.

ATLAS produces a good model of the N&W C-31/31P in HO.  They are doing a
current run with them painted red-NW and red-NS (2 numbers each).  There are
currently a number for sale on eBay.  In the past ATLAS also produced them
in blue/yellow with half moon heralds (at least 3 different numbers).
