I have always wondered if the foam board presents a fire hazard?

The nice thing is that you can use foam board glue applied with a caulking gun to build your base and scenery. 1" foam board is more versatile to use and easily cut to build your scenery. You can laminate different thickness to get to the height you want.

The layout is in a bedroom here in Southern California so it doesn’t get under 65* and rarely over 95*. I’m using the plywood for mounting the turnout controllers.
