Since there are a lot of NWHS members in Central and SW VA, a check
centered on my home zip of 24121 returned dealers in Lynchburg and Christiansburg.

There are a lot of California suppliers listed at this site.
Homasote 440 is carried in stock by several Home Depot locations in
northern VA and there may be a source near you in CA as well.

for another homasote source, try Menards, look for any local lumber
suppliers as well, if not in stock, perhaps orderable.
Menards has them also cut in 2x4 boards, perfect for my modular work.
I have not seen it in my local Home depots.
