Athearn SD40's

Since nobody else has mentioned it. 

 

Athearn has announced a "completely redesigned" new run of SD40's which
include 4 high-hood N&W units.  No blue unfortunately.  There are 2 each of
the 1971 NW scheme (F6) and 2 in the 1981 "NORFOLK AND WESTERN" (F8).

 

Why would they choose the F8 scheme???
