N&W 1013

[NW Modeling List]

I asked Kevin EuDaly about this unit and he graciously, and quickly, 
sent me a file for use of this list.

I then found a shot I took in 1971 of the same unit.

While there may appear to be a blue cast to parts of the unit in both 
shots, the engine was definitely black in 1971. The places where crewmen 
rub off the dust are black.

Finally, if the unit had been repainted in the brief "blue period", in 
1970 and '71 I believe it would have appeared unmistakeably blue, with dirt.
