CF grab irons and brake rigging

Hi Mike, 

I have some photos of the cupola grabs in the following thread:

But the instructions are correct - it is a bit tedious.

Looking at that thread reminded me that that build happened seven years ago.  I’m glad I wrote it up - it’s been a good tutorial for myself over the years to remind me of techniques I’ve already practiced!

Also, what does brake rigging look like if there is no air cylinder?  The instructions say they didn't have automatic brakes (or something) which to me means that it didn't have air brakes at first.  I thought this would be an interesting thing to model.
Any ideas?
