Roger:

I've never seen a HO Rivarossi/AHM 10-6 that was other than the smooth-side
ACF prototype.  However, after AHM morphed into IHC, the 10-6 changed to a
Budd prototype with corrugated sides and the unique Budd roof.  Might that
be what you're remembering?

I do have a Rivarossi/AHM 10-6 that the previous owner had modified by
adding a belt rail, but that was "home brew."
