I'll check the documentation tonight and - if it is a feature - turn my 2-8-2 into a compound to see how it works.

So to get back to the question: does the tcs decoder switch from simple to compound? Does the Tsu2? If so isn’t it the first time in a decoder? I don’t think Broadway did it unless I missed it.
