Ho scale 611 in the 1950s

Hi,
I agree with Jeff on the DCS from MTH. I have both the BLI and the MTH. I
hate the MTH sound. At high speeds its a gas engine sound or so it sounds
to me. If you like electronics, the MTH locomotive is a great candidate
for an after market decoder. The paragon 1-2-3 sound in BLI is a little
better, their whistles tend to be good. However I also hate it. I made
the mistake of spending time with some steam locomotives and I am not very
impressed with any decoders.
I highly recommend TCS's new high bass speakers over any other speaker. You
can actually feel some of the chuff's bass. They actually produce some bass
sounds and with the load sensing they don't sound like they are pulling max
tons up a hill all the time.
