Branchline H/W coach kitbash question

 Jim: In both cases, window height is a problem. Windows on the PG and on the combine are taller than on the Branchline coach (or any other presently available commercial model). The old Rivarossi heavyweight coach had even taller windows, but Bob Chapman and I solved that by using a wider letterboard than on the stock Rivarossi. Bt if you want to use the Branchline kit (and ignore the window height), I would suggest removing the windows on the baggage end, replacing with sheet styrene, and then cutting an opening for an Athearn baggage door. Since this car is shorter than the 20 window coach, eliminating the vestibule on the baggage end is no problem.

I have 2 Branchline h/w 20-window coach kits … 1 will be modified to closely match the car shown in attached image (different bathroom windows).  The 2nd kit might be turned into the combine used on the Blacksburg Branch (see attached 2 pix).  I’m looking for suggestions on what to use for the baggage half of the car.
