I have not personally seen Wayland Moore and his son Dan's railroad presentation that they are showing at the Rivanna Chapter, NRHS November monthly meeting tonight via ZOOM. Wayland and Dan presented this show at the Blue Ridge Chapter, NRHS meeting last week. I have been told that it starts off in WVA and then you get lost in WVA after that! Ha! I have forwarded the sign in link if you would like to view it. I hope that it all works smoothly. Feel free to share with others.

Wayland Moore will be our presenter this month, and bring us this show:
Learn why “110” is special to both Wayland and his CSX engineer son, Dan, and why they drove over 1000 miles in August 2021.  Over those miles, you’ll see why this father and son work so well together snooping out old and new/contemporary, steam and diesel.  As such, there will be something for everyone, and, hopefully, no more than one thing that will make anyone say, “Why did he bother to include that?”  Photos, etc., will come from a variety of sources as well as Wayland’s camera.
— Don’t miss this varied and interesting show!

No December meeting – after the November meeting, we’ll get together again on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022 at 7:00 PM as usual.
At last check, the Timberwood Grill was still not using the room at the back where we had been meeting, but we will stay in touch with them.
