In all my NWHS adventures I have had the pleasure of interacting with many
fine folks. Harold was one of the finest. Always a smile; always
interesting discussions. A serious researcher who generously shared his
impressive knowledge. He worked quietly behind the scenes for quite some
time to have N&W/VGN models produced, with some successes and many
frustrations. His complete research package to have someone produce a VGN
PA Class 4-6-2 still sits at Division Point, going nowhere.
