I guess it depends on the colors I'm after, what I use or not. Testors is
still around, and that's my go to for black paint, and simple colors. It's
solvent based paint, so lots of fumes. I've recently been playing around
with AK Interactive water-based acrylic paint, and so far I really like it.
No smell, very fast dry time, and if you use the thinner they sell, rather
than water for thinning in your airbrush, the paint lays down really nice.
I had issues using water to thin it, but that was probably my fault for
using tap water instead of distilled. For clear coats, I like the Tamiya
rattle can clears.
