For big parts, I like to use an airbrush sized sand blaster with 220 grit
media. It doesn't ruin the detail, and gives the paint something to stick
to. For little parts, like trucks, I use lacquer thinner. You can do the
big parts by soaking them in lacquer thinner if you don't have a little
sand blaster
