[NW Modeling List]

All,
I propose for our first project, the Intermountain PS-1 40' boxcar (see
attachment 1), decorated as N&W class B-8 in the as-delivered scheme (see
attachment 2).  This car is FIRMLY in the steam era, but photos show cars
in this scheme still operating through the 1970s, so it would appear that
it should appeal to almost everyone.
What I need is for each and every one of you to look at the model (plenty
of photos on IRC website and web in general) and the prototype (drawings,
photos, etc on our website) and compare.  Scrutinize them very closely and
give me your comparison feedback both positive and negative.
But what I need even more is for each of you to let me know how many of
these cars (in different road numbers) you, yourself would purchase,
knowing that a big hunk of the price would go to the society.
Please take the time to send a note with your feedback to the list, and if
it is positive enough, I will make a formal proposal and start moving
forward with obtaining a quote for presentation to the BoD.
