[DesignII] Version 9.13 of DESIGN II for Windows

This email is to notify you that version 9.13 of DESIGN II for Windows 
is now available on our website at www.winsim.com/download.html .

This is a upgrade release of DESIGN II for Windows.  This new release 
has the following changes:
1. Added a new dialog (Properties...) under the File menu allowing the 
    resizing of an existing flowsheet
2. Added the SI units system to the dimensional units selection mode for 
    the File / New dialog.  Flowsheet default settings on size, units, orientation, 
    etc... are now retained as first selected by user for the next start of 
    DESIGN II for Windows
3. Added display of six items for a Refine column on the Flowsheet
4. Improved the API Enthalpy and entropy base to handle datum at -200 F 
    and saturated liquid for all equations of state except the Mixed Amines 
    thermodynamics.  Also, added a ASME ENThalpy command for an enthalpy 
    and entropy base of 32 F using saturated liquid.  If both API Enthalpy and 
    ASME enthalpy commands are present then all components except water 
    will be calculated with a -200 F saturated liquid base, water will be calculated 
    at 32 F saturated liquid base.  The default enthalpy and entropy base continues 
    to be 32 F using ideal gas.
5. Enhanced the phase envelope calculations by allowing pressures closer to the 
    critical point.  Also added a default pressure range from 50 psia to 5000 psia 
    by 50 psia if no pressures are specified.
6. Corrected the allowable pressure drop printed on the heat exchanger ratings 
    sheet to have the total value instead of the incremental delta pressure displayed 
    before
7. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes at 
    http://www.winsim.com/products/relnotes.chm ) 

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please download the 
new version.  The new CDs should start going out in a couple of days.

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the 9.10 release.  
Your new password should have been emailed to the contact person for your 
account.  If you need a new password, please contact support at winsim.com 
with your serial number for your new password if you are on MSS or a Usage 
agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (34 MB) from our website 
and installing it.  Run DESIGN II for Windows and a dialog will come up with 
your Computer ID and ask you for a Serial Number and Password.  You can 
get a Serial Number and Password emailed to you from 
www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.
