[DesignII] Version 9.22 of DESIGN II for Windows

This email is to notify you that version 9.22 of DESIGN II for Windows is now available 
on our website at www.winsim.com/download.html .

This is a maintenance release of DESIGN II for Windows.  This new release has the 
following changes:
1. Moved the internal clipboard from the GUI to the Windows clipboard. Now you can 
cut, copy and paste data on the Windows clipboard between any Window of DESIGN 
II for Windows.
2. Enhanced the Distillation Absorber column calculations when there is bottom vapor 
feed stream with some liquid in it. The liquid is now moved to the bottom tray 
automatically so that it participates in the column flash and traffic calcualtions.
3. The program was modified for consistency between E-Series and the basic 
exchanger definitions in documentation for area and passes. Added new commands 
such as SHElls in PARallel and SHElls in SERies for use with rating & non-rating 
cases. Included the same in online DESIGN II Reference Guide documentation. The 
E type heat exchangers in series will now be specified as two shells in series and one 
tube pass per shell.
4. Added millimeters of water absolute and gauge pressure units via preferences and 
print options dialogs in the Specify menu. Added inh2o, inh2og, mmh2o, and mmh2og 
in the stream data box multi-pressure units flowsheet display.
5. Fixed an Excel Data Results Transfer problem on German Versions of Excel 2003.
6. Fixed the difficulty in editing/re-routing streams from one end of an existing stream's 
connecting nodes.
7. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes at http://www.winsim.com/products/relnotes.chm ) 

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please download the new 
version.  The new CDs should start going out in a couple of days.

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the 9.20 release.  Your new 
password should have been emailed to the contact person for your account.  If you 
need a new password, please contact support at winsim.com with your serial number 
for your new password if you are on MSS or a Usage agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (36 MB) from our website and 
installing it.  Run DESIGN II for Windows and a dialog will come up with your Computer 
ID and ask you for a Serial Number and Password.  You can get a Serial Number and 
Password emailed to you from www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 
7 days a week basis.
