[DesignII] Version 10.02 of DESIGN II for Windows

This email is to notify you that version 10.02 of DESIGN II
for Windows is now available on our website at
  www.winsim.com/download.html .

This is a release of DESIGN II for Windows.  This new
release has the following changes:
1. Added condenser and reboiler internal stream commands for
  the Amine Regenerator column
2. Added percent flooding (GLI PER) and calculated percent
  flooding (CAL GLI PER) of the Distillation Column trays as
  variables to controller
3. The constant volume Depressurizer unit module was significantly
  revised to be able to depressurize a liquid single component
  vessel, such as liquid nitrogen, with an external fire
4. Added Distillation Column stage temperatures retrieval and use
  with Inline Fortran via CALculated TEMperature PROfile command
  additions. Also, increased the maximum number of HEAters and
  LOCation of HEAters for the distillation column so that
  columns within columns could be modeled.
5. Added two new Inline Fortran variables DUTy and CALculated
  DUTy for the Air Cooler unit module
6. Added the ability to have two outlet streams (vapor and liquid)
  for a single stream Heat Exchanger
7. Added dialog data entry for the plug flow reactor and
  multi-flash unit modules
8. Added vapor pressure and individual component flow rates (mass
  and molar) to display results on flowsheet
9. Added a no curve option for crude stream curve properties on
  viscosity data entry dialog
10. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please
download the new version.  The new CDs should start going
out in a couple of days.

Please note that we have a web-based tutorial for DESIGN II

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the
10.00 release. Your new password should have been emailed
to the contact person for your account.  If you need a new
password, please contact support at winsim.com with your serial
number for your new password if you are on MSS or a Usage
agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (70 MB)
from our website and installing it.  Run DESIGN II for
Windows and a dialog will come up with your Computer ID and
ask you for a Serial Number and Password.  You can get a
Serial Number and Password emailed to you from
  www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a
week basis.
