[DesignII] Version 16.16 of DESIGN II for Windows

This email is to notify you that version 16.16 of DESIGN II for Windows 
is now available on our website at  www.winsim.com/download.html .

The new features and fixes are:
1. Added four Inline Fortran functions as stream properties:
a. GET or SET Ambient temperature in R (AMB TEM)
b. GET or SET Ambient pressure in psia (AMB PRE)
c. GET Number of components (NCP)
d. GET Current case study number (CAS NUM)
2. Improved the display of the timed update of dynamic results by having 
the stream and equipment stored results updated directly from the stored 
results in the flowsheet instead of the Design II output file
3. Added the display of only the first ten messages of each of the 
critical calculation warning messages when the mixture critical 
temperature and critical pressure calculations failed
4. Fixed a water dew point calculation issue due to improper solids 
handling in the dew point method
5. Fixed the vertical Tank unit module calculation for the initial time 
step given the liquid height specification and also fixed energy 
initialization
6. Fixed a Stream properties calculation issue via the Inline Fortran 
bytecode interpreter
7. Added a print of all the thermo options for each equipment and stream
8. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes 
www.winsim.com/media/relnotes.html )

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please download the 
new version.

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the 16.00 
release. Your new password should have been emailed to the contact 
person for your account. If you need a new password, please contact 
support at winsim.com with your serial number for your new password if you 
are on MSS or a Usage agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (180 MB) from our 
website and installing it. Run DESIGN II for Windows and a dialog will 
come up with your Computer ID and ask you for a Serial Number and 
Password. You can get a Serial Number and Password emailed to you from 
www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.
