MobyGames currently requires some sort of "proof" (ASCII strings in the
game code, printing in the manual, on-screen credits, etc.) for all
credits. We had to change to this policy very early on because of abuse
(there were a lot of people attempting to claim credits they were not
entitled to, such as QA people claiming Design or similar, or some guy
who was let go from a company trying to get co-producer credit (don't
try to guess who :-), etc.).

This is unfortunate, but at least we can claim that what information is
in the database is accurate. Not necessarily complete, but accurate.

I'm not sure there even is a solution for "uncredited" credits (the term
itself is an oxymoron :-). So we stick to what can be verified. I'm
sure some entries could be made more "complete" with additional credits,
but then you have the murky waters of how much involvement is relevant
and worth documenting.
