Jim will always defend this game's reputation to the bitter end, far 
more than even the creators will. :) However, due to my limited 
experience with the Atari generation of video games, I have to say that 
I can't see how E.T. could have possibly been so much worse than most 
games of that time.
It's funny to think that kids these days probably think the same when 
they read how Total Recall was one of the worst NES games ever (and it 
WAS): "It doesn't *look* any worse than the other NES fare I have seen."

The creator of the game was greatly amused by the video. He said that 
the only thing worse than having your work panned is having it forgotten.
