[game_preservation] Old Nintendo patents

Has anyone looked at the patent list for research? I started browsing
through it after someone found some old Metroid patents, and saw some
interesting things in the 'Gumpei Yokoi' + Nintendo search.

This for example:

It's an electromechanical game where you maneuver a submarine past dropping
depth charges. There's no record of it on arcade-history and it's not even
listed in the Gumpei Yokoi biography. Looks like it would have come out in
1978 in Japan and 1979 or 1980 in the US.

Anyway, other great stuff in there such as the patents for the Virtual Boy,
ROB, and Ten Billion Barrel :)
