[game_preservation] Dave Perry Game Design Challenge

There had been efforts earlier to establish a 'game canon', but now Dave
Perry has issued a challenge that essentially will help create a canon:

However, he is referring to gamerankings.com. 1000 Video Games You Must
Play Before You Die is another good one to look at. I wonder if we could
use some of this data to revive the canon?
