[JakeShows] In Minneapolis Friday, plus Sweet Little Variety Show and jug band shows in March

Hi all,

I hope you’ve been getting through the winter OK! I have been doing a lot of traveling, and am ready to settle down at home for a bit — but not quite yet. First, I’ll be playing at MarsCon at the Mall of America for the first time, then returning to Providence for the Sweet Little Variety Show, then going to Massachusetts to play in the Too Tight Jug Band. It’ll be a good time!

If you know anyone who lives near the Mall of America in Bloomington, Indiana, who might be interested in checking out some funny music, then please pass along the word that I’ll be there! Details are below.

MarsCon is a fan-run science fiction convention for all ages, and the MarsCon Dementia Track is a long-running comedy music concert series inspired by Dr. Demento.

This year I’ll be backing up Massachusetts singer/songwriter and podcaster Kornflake (of the comedy podcast the Flopcast, among other things) on the main stage at MarsCon's Dementia Track, the world's longest-running fandom convention comedy music concert series! I also should be participating in Dementia Smackdown Wrestling on Saturday the 29th at noon, and I plan to play a song at the Dementia Smacktown concert at 3 pm on Sunday March 1.

I'll be playing some songs as part of the Sweet Little Variety Show with special guest Kornflake! I believe we’ll also have copies of her brand new album, which features my guitar playing on most tracks.
