Hi all,

I hope that the week before Christmas is going well for you all! I celebrated the way I usually do these days, by watching the terrible-yet-great low budget movie Santa Jaws. It’s rated PG, and is more goofy than scary, and perfect for a horror movie wimp like me. Also, it’s included with Amazon Prime.

As it says in the subject, I’ll be doing a music livestream tonight from 7-9 pm US Eastern time. Tune if if you like at

 I don’t know enough Christmas music to fill two hours, so it will mostly be my usual sort of set list, but I will try to play what Christmas songs I know!

This year, Allysen has teamed up with a dozen local musicians to record as many cover songs of Christmas and Christmas-adjacent songs. For me the standout is ‘Calling All Angels’ with Tracie Potochnic, but there’s also an extremely chaotic version of my song ‘The Christmas Lobster’ which I drove over and recorded with Allysen one late autumn night. Then we watched ‘The Lady in White’. A good evening all around! Here’s that recording:
