[JakeShows] Kickstarter updates; music livestream tomorrow; open mike featured act on Thursday!

Hi all,

Looks like a busy week! The big news is that yesterday the kickstarter for my new album met its goal! There are still a few days left, so I’m hoping we will hit some of my stretch goals: If the project hits $2,000, I'll commission artist and streamer ToxicD0gs to create an illustrated lyric sheet for one of my songs; if it hits $2,250, I'll add a cover of Allysen Caller's song 'So Slo-Mo' to the album; and if it hits $2,5000 then I'll commission Rhode Island singer/songwriter Allison Rose and Twitch streamer Cali Naughton, Jr. to cover one of my songs each!

Tune in tomorrow (Tuesday June 25) at 6:30 pm to https://twitch.tv/jwghaller for a closing livestream for the end of my Kickstarter, to thank you all for your support, and to make a final push to hit some of those stretch goals! Featuring an updated Wheel of Fate that may force me to play a song with mittens on, pull out the accordion, or cover ‘Whipping Post’, among other things.

ALSO I’ve been writing little essays about some of the songs that will be on the album and posting them to Tumblr. See the end of this message for links.

I’ll be opening for Olivia Dolphin (it'll be her birthday!) and Jake Wasson MD & the Malpractice. No cover! MYRTLE has a piano so I will be playing both guitar and piano tunes.

Thursday November 14 — SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND
