[JakeShows] Sweet Little Variety Show on April 11, plus various live-streaming events and other news

Hi all,

I hope that you’re enjoying the start of Spring. It’s raining like crazy in Providence today, and tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 30s, so it’s all pretty par for the course in Rhode Island — which I actually kind of appreciate the variety!

I recently signed up with a booking agency, Hey Jude Management https://heyjudemgmt.com/ , so hopefully we’ll be seeing some in-person shows coming out of that, though probably not until this summer. This also led me to update my website for the first time in a while (mostly cosmetic stuff): http://music.jwgh.org/ 

And I’m going to try to make the livestreams with local musicians be a regular, once every other month thing. I’m tentatively thinking that the next one will be at the beginning of April — more about that as it gets closer.

For now, I’ve got one in-person show currently booked::

Saturday April 6, 7 pm: Playing For The King II on Rage Kage Games’s livestream. Kage is having a day-long livestream, and is having me and one or two other people on to play the D&D-lite game For The King II for a couple of hours starting at 7 pm. I will also be doing some other livestreams here and there. I had some minor oral surgery a couple of weeks ago and have been taking it easy as I recover, but I’m feeling somewhat better and am also kind of sick of taking it easy, so hopefully I’ll be doing more soon.
