Today I realized that I was nominated for 'Roots Act of the Year' in the New England Music Awards! Other friends and collaborators are also on there in various categories - Chris Monti, Bill Bartholomew, Olivia Dolphin, Jake Wasson, and Savoir Faire, to name just a few -- and it's exciting to be on the ballot with so many great folks!

And, my father and I are both planning to go play with the High Tone Jug Band this week on Wednesday October 1 from 6-7:30 pm at the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope Street, Bristol, RI 02809. It'll be an outdoors show, unless it rains, in which case it will be moved to the Herreshoff Community Room. Hope to see you there!
