And it looks as if writing TAI into a standard which is expected to
be useful in the future is also a mistake. As seen at

The BIPM contributed document 7A/51-E to the ITU-R WP7A meeting
regarding Question ITU-R 236/7. The final sentence of the BIPM
document reads:

In the case of a redefinition of UTC without leap seconds, the
CCTF would consider discussing the possibility of suppressing
TAI, as it would remain parallel to the continuous UTC.

This makes it unclear whether TAI will continue to exist.
