I seem to remember that there is an info.plist edit to get Quicklook  
to recognize further plain text file syntaxes by their extensions...

A bit clumsy and won't survive updates, but perhaps a workaround would  
be to mod a free text editor that you don't use, so that the  
declaration sticks around ?
