Note: 1. Only "J" built with Franklin Booster on trailing truck.
 
Engines shown with * were the "War Babies" and classed as J-1's.  They  did 
not have lightweight rods and shrouding as built due to wartime  restrictions. 
They were later rebuilt in the 1945-47 period and received  shrouding and 
lightweight rods, etc.
