Information is as follows: Road Number delivery date, construction 
number, retired date and location

600  10-20-1941    c/n 311    06-16-1959 Lamberts Point

These dates are from official equipment ledgers, retirement dates are 
not the date sold for scrap, but physically removal from roster.

600-604 cost new $166,917 each, 602 was equipped with Franklin trailing 
truck booster at an additional cost of $12,348, it was removed in 
12-1945
605-610 cost new $141,280 each, built as J1 Freight Locomotives without 
streamlining, lightweight alloy rods and roller bearings, all rebuilt 
to streamlined locomotives with roller bearings, lightweight rods 
beginning in 01-1945. Most service was still as passenger locomotives 
despite the freight locomotive description.
611-613 cost new $251,544 each
