Good morning, all:

Does anyone have or are there in the Archives any card
tickets for travel to, from, or between Shenandoah
Division stations? If so, I'd welcome some scans at
full or 200 percent original size. If some are
available but one doesn't have the ability to scan
them, I'd reimburse expenses for good quality
photocopies mailed to the address below.

Also, is there documentation about the combination of
stations that would be shown on card tickets? From a
Boyce origin and based on a guess, destinations might
be junctions such as Hagerstown, Shenandoah Junction,
Riverton Junction, Waynesboro, and Roanoke. Others
would be well-established travel destinations such as
Luray and Natural Bridge which generated more than
half the overall passenger traffic on this line, at
least during the Shenandoah Valley Railroad era.
Major (if you want to call them that) cities such as
Front Royal, Shenandoah, Elkton, and Buchanan might
also be present.

Any information that replaces my speculations with
facts will be most appreciated. In the meantime, I
hope everyone will get their Summer off to a nice
start!

Best wishes from up the Valley,

Frank
