Retirement dates for Wabash EMD E7As

According to Bowers's book, there were four E7A locomotives on the Wabash roster which were active when the merger with N&W occurred. They were 1001, 1002, 1016 and 1002A, retired 10/65, 11/65, 10/65 and 11/65 respectively. There are two photos in the book, 1001 in the solid blue scheme and 1002 in what I believe was the blue and silver (?) scheme.

Was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me when the Wabash EMD E7s were retired. With the new N-scale EMD E7A from Precision Craft Models being out I may need to try to justify one (or more) for my freelanced line and using an old Wabash engine might be just the thing...
