Harry - very similar!

I remember working on Shaffer's Crossing Shop Track and one July day a boxcar load of hides came in with a broken side sill. The section crew was given the task of transferring the hides into another car. The work was going well, and when the noon whistle blew the gang got up in the car of hides, broke open their lunch buckets, and ate.

Ruined everybody else's appetite, though . . .

EdK:
Is a honey bucket similar to a honey wagon ? A
railroader once told a tale of honey wagons
staffed with city employees plying the alleys
of South Norfolk. They'd service and lime the
outdoor toilettes. He also noted that at 12 Noon,
they'd sit on the back of the honey wagon,
and consume lunch . . . . . .without ever washing
their hands.
