PERSONALS AND BRIEFS
-----
The cylinder head on the engine pulling No. 4 was blown out at Vivian yesterday and the train was delayed about an hour and a half.
------
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Carey and children of Portsmouth, Ohio, are in the city visiting relatives and friends. Mr. Carey is now trainmaster on the Scioto Valley division, and is one of the brightest railroad men on the Norfolk and Western system.

[So, if Carey is one of the brightest, he probably made president. Right?]
