COUNTY COURT EXTENDS INVITATION TO DEEPWATER

Will Give Road Any Aid it Legitimately Can in Passage Through Mercer
------
The following resolution was passed by the county court, recently in session at Princeton.
"Whereas, it has come to the court that the Deepwater Railway, a corporation organized under the laws of the state, are intending to construct a line of railway through the county, which may pass through or near the town of Princeton, the county seat of this county, and
"Whereas, the court recognizes the fact that the construction of railways are to the advantage of the people, the district and the county through which it passes; it is therefore
"Resolved, by the said court, that they invite the said Deepwater Railway Company to construct the said line through or near Princeton and that the said court will extend any aid it can legitimately, having due regard for the interests of the county, and it is further
"Resolved, that the said court as individuals and also in so far as it is representative of the people, and appreciative of the great undertaking of the said Deepwater Railway Company, desires by this means to show its sympathy with the construction of said railway line."
