Hello, I didn't mean that the #1776 was repainted back into her red, white & blue colors in 1978. I know she was repainted into the black and white scheme. Let me rephrase my question : did she break down during the 1978 strike and then painted into the black and white scheme after being repaired? I have a way of asking questions that people take the wrong way, just ask my girlfriend! Thanks, Dave Grigsby
