HEALTH IMPAIRED BY HALF-MILE WALK
------
Case of Woman Who Sued Norfolk and Western Railway Postponed

Captain Mastin, the passenger conductor, was saved a trip to Wayne county last night because the court there postponed a certain case in which the Norfolk and Western is interested. From the conductor's story a woman in Wayne county is suing the Norfolk and Western Railway Company for alleged injuries done to her health on account of a walk from Alnwick to War Eagle. It seems that the woman, who had boarded the train in Wayne county had walked four miles to the Wayne county station, boarded the train and rode 75 miles to War Eagle where she says the train stopped although she had a ticket to Alnwick. The woman alleges, it is said, that her health was impaired by the walk of a little over a half a mile from Alnwick to War Eagle, and now the railroad company has got to fight it out.
