ENGINEERING CORPS LOCATING NEW ROAD
------
Extension From Days to Rocky Gap Will be a Grand Stimulus to Logging, Cross Tie and Tan Bark Industry

On Monday a corps of civil engineers left Days to locate a route for a railroad from that point to Rocky Gap, seven miles west. This road will be an extension of a private line now in operation between Days and the mouth of Wolf Creek, where connection is made with the Norfolk and Western, and will be a great stimulus to the logging, tan bark and cross tie industry in that part of Bland country [sic]. The people of Rocky Gap are anticipating a regular boom in real estate and are jubilant over the promised development of that section.
