HAS BETTER ROAD BED
------
Chesapeake & Ohio Has Fine Train Service But Norfolk & Western Ahead in Track Efficiency

H. C. Weller, train master of the Pocahontas division of the Norfolk & Western, accompanied by Mrs. Weller, returned yesterday from a two weeks' vacation spent at Pence's Spring in Summers county. Mr. Weller devoted much of the time in fishing in the beautiful Greenbrier, but he says with very poor success. The earlier visitors had gotten in their work and made this apostolic pastime rather slow.
Mr. Weller made several trips on the Chesapeake and Ohio, and spent some time visiting the division officials at Hinton. In point of road bed and track efficiency he says that the Norfolk and Western is ahead of the Chesapeake and Ohio, but for passenger service he thinks that there are few roads in the country which surpass the Chesapeake and Ohio.
