and some of those trestles are still intact in NC too. I know I had seen about 3 on my Fedex Home Delivery route a few years ago. one is a driveway to a house now.

Yes to both questions. Many of the trestles are intact.

I have heard that some of the Va. Creeper route has been turned into a Va. State park walk way. Is that true and are any of the wooden bridges still in tact??
