Cindy and I headed home to Aiken,SC on Sunday from the Elkhorn Inn and drove
back by the accident scene in Keystone. The NS crews were there working still.

The total for railside damage looked to be:

1 Semi-Truck - Coal Truck
1 pick-up truck
2 small cars (one is now a pancake)

a couple of front porches on buildings including the UMWA office from the one
picture.

It also took out the cross-bucks and pole on the far side of the tracks, the
crew was there on Sunday replacing it when we headed back down here for home.

The track looked in really good condition considering. All of the RJ
Corman derailment equipment was parked near Bluefield, WV.

The Bluefield yard was pretty busy with parked empty coal trains which I guess
they were holding. I never saw a loaded coal train all weekend after the
derailment and overall traffic was still very light compared to usual. I'm
wondering if they did reroutes after the accident?
